Dr Chetan Kapoor, known as Chet, qualified from the University of Leeds in 2012.
He continued in Leeds to do his vocational training before getting married to Annie. After returning from Australia they settled into Shropshire where they have been enjoying the wonderful views and relaxed countryside lifestyle.
Dr Chet started working in Ludlow in 2014 and within months of working in a new practice he became clinical lead due to his strong leadership skills and ability to bring the team together. He has developed a huge passion for restoring smiles, improving the cosmetic appearance of teeth and restorative rehabilitation cases. He achieved his PG Cert in restorative dentistry in 2019 and since then has successfully treated many complex restorative cases, mainly involving tooth wear. He is also a certified Enlighten tooth whitening expert and trained in SmileFast, enabling him to create beautiful smiles with minimally invasive techniques.
Dr Chet is well known for his calm, charming and gentle manner as well as his exceptional care for dentally anxious and phobic patients. Patients always feel at ease in the dental chair with Dr Chet as he prides himself with going above and beyond for them.
Dr Chet’s favourite part of being a dentist is transforming patient’s lives by enabling them to eat, talk and smile with confidence. His best moments are when he hands the patient the mirror to see their new teeth and sees how happy he has made them. Dr Chet enjoys showing off his latest dental gadgets to his patients and staying up to date with the latest dental technology!
Outside work, Chet enjoys going to the gym, cycling, hiking, reading and spending time with his children.
