Mr Sunil Bhatia is our highly experienced Maxillofacial surgeon.
With both a degree in medicine and dentistry, Sunil brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
His previous post as Consultant MaxFax Surgeon at Telford Princess Royal involved surgical removal of head and neck cancer, skin cancer removal, salivary gland disease treatment as well as facial reconstruction surgery.
Sunil enjoys being part of the team at Shawbirch Dental where he is able to continue to carry out oral surgery and maxillofacial work. He has a passion for being able to transform a patients life by restoring their ability to eat, speak and talk with confidence with dental implants. He also offers MaxFax consultations for patients suffering with TMJ, jaw and facial pain, facial neuralgia and biopsies of oral pathology. Sunils experience working in both private and NHS hospitals also has lead him to be one of the best Oral Surgeons in the UK, which makes having wisdom teeth removal, surgical removal of teeth and apicectomy treatments as quick and comfortable as possible for our patients.
Outside of the dental practice, Sunil also works as a GP. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening and playing badminton and cricket.
